This is an original piece presenting distinctly Jewish figures in different emotional states brought on by the transport of prayer. The figure in the foreground wears a fraying tallit or prayer shawl, suggestive of material poverty. The act of prayer imparts to him a serenity and dignity which is unmistakable as he is perceived illuminated by a divine radiance. In an opposing quadrant but seeemingly more distant, suffused by the same light that touches the first figure, can be seen a second figure in a sublime state of joyous rapture.
Each day we have an encounter with our soul, an opening into the infinity of the divine wisdom. Through study each individual can refine her personality in order to perceive the true elements of her life with greater acuity
